The Verdict:

Is faith out there? Does a high power exist? Whether your a sceptic or a believer this faith based movie will surely take you on an emotional journey. So don't forget your box of tissues.

Based on the true story of 10 year old Annabelle Bean from Texas who suddenly got sick overnight with an illness that no doctors could see. The family was told she had lactose intolerance or acid reflux, but her mother, Christy Beam, played by Jennifer Garner knew it wasn’t what the doctors were telling her. She never gave up on the search for a doctor that would tell her the truth. After all of her struggles, Christy finally gets the true diagnosis of Pseudo Obstruction. In layman terms, an abdominal obstruction is preventing her body from breaking down food, it's also incurable.

With the family having put all the equity into their fathers new veterinary business, the family struggles to keep up with the growing need of medication, medical procedures and flies back and forth from Boston, where the specialist was located.

As the experience takes it's told on the family, the strain on their emotions and finances becomes overwhelming. Until one day when Annabelle finds the energy to play with her sisters in the backyard of their farm. She’s climbs the tree with her elder sister with a spring in her step and full of laughter. Suddenly the branch they were sitting on starts to break. The girls panic and Annabelle tries to reach back to the main trunk of the tree and pushes through a hole in the tree. She tumbles down the middle of the tree and becomes unconscious until she is rescued by the fire service.

After taking a severe hit to the head her incurable disorder suddenly disappears. It was the work of a higher power that told her it was all going to be okay and that she should return to her body and fulfil her life by spreading the Lord's word.

Throughout the movie you're introduced to many characters that pass through the Bean’s family life. Each and every person was put into there life by fate to play a different role. All of these links are shown to you at the end of the movie to prove faith works to different ways and can come in any form.

May people will think this movie is all about religion, which it is, but if you put that aside there is an amazingly well told story underneath, whether you believe it for not.
