Zootopia is a place where no matter what you are—from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew—you can be anything. But when rookie officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case. Unfortunately, that means partnering with Nick Wilde—a fast-talking, scam-arist fox—to solve a mystery.
This movie was amazing. The graphics were amazing. The characters were amazing and the story was amazing.
Zootopia is a place where no matter what size you are, big or small, anyone can be anything. Just like Judy Hopps, voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, who even as a kitten dreamt of being the first rabbit police officer of Zootopia, despite her friends and family telling her she will never be able to do it.
One day young Judy saw her friends being picked on by a bully young fox. Judy takes a stance against the fox to protect her friends and shows that she won’t stand for bullying. Despite taking on a battle scar inflicted by the fox, this incident only made her desire to prove other's wrong even stronger.
After finishing at the Police Academy Judy is assigned to work Precinct One, Downtown Zootopia. After her first day on the job being assigned a metre maid she starts to think. Maybe dreams don’t come true. Nothing on that first day turned out the way she wanted it to. Will she ever be more then just a metre maid?
Finally Judy takes an opportunity to show how valuable she is to the force by accepting a challenge. Solve a case of a missing Otter with 48hrs or hand in her badge.
Straight away Judy decides to look for the small clues that could give her a break in the case. What she didn’t realise that the first clue would get her partnered with a skimming no good fox, Nike Wilde, voiced by Jason Bateman. The two work together to follow the clues and try and solve the case of the missing Otter but is something more sinister at play?
In true Disney style the main characters are the heroes as they solve the case. But who is the bad guy? Could it be the Mayor of Zootopia, Mayor Lionheart? Could it be the mob headed up by Mr Big?
The moral to the story is acceptance for all. Not matter what species you are we all should accept each other for who we are.
"Change start with you. Change starts with me. Change starts with all of us."
