The Plot:

On the last day before summer vacation, high school teacher Andy Campbell tries his best to keep it together amid senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that threaten his job. Things go from bad to worse when he crosses Ron Strickland, the school's toughest and most feared teacher. When Strickland gets fired, he challenges Campbell to a fight after school. As news of the showdown spreads like wildfire, poor Andy desperately seeks any way out of his date with certain doom.

The Verdict:

There isn't much to say about this movie, only that I’m not sure which was worse, the acting or the script.

Thoughts that come to mind are cringeworthy and a total waste of time.

The movie is centred around the last day of secondary school in the United States. The kids are running amok and doing everything they can to make the last day of school hell for their teachers. This day also happens to be the teacher review day were all the schools teachers need to sit for a formal interview and fight for their job. For this school, most of them got retrenched.

So when you have to fight for your job, some teachers are willing to do anything. From trying to place drugs on someone to even fist fighting after school in the carpark.

Andy Campbell is one of these teachers, just a guy who is doing everything he can to provide for his growing family. The other is Strickland, a passionate teacher who loves teaching and wants to be able to educate his students.

Andy is a complete chicken that hasn't been in any kind of fight in his whole life. He does everything he can to get out of this fight, from trying to fix the issues that started the fight in the first place, placing drugs on Strickland and calling the cops even bribing a student news reporter with Apple merch.

The only good part about this movie happens in the last 5 mins, yep that's right I sat through this crap for the while time. It was full of action and little bit of comedy. Basically the whole movie could have been summed up in 5 mins.

There is a meaning behind the movie but it’s right at the end and gets lost. I can’t even remember what it was.

If I were you, I would save your money and see something worth watching.
