Famous Kookaburra Unveiled at Tempo, Drummoyne
You may have recently noticed the big 'Midnight Kookaburra' artwork, by Dutch artist Amok Island, now adorning Victoria Road, Drummoyne. The Australiana icon was included onto the side façade as a permanent fixture with a view that it would add some colour and vibrancy to the generally monotonous Victoria Road streetscape.
The Tempo Kookaburra now majestically overlooks Victoria Road towards the city and will be highly visible to thousands of passers-by every day. Tempo comprises 164 apartments which were all sold by McGrath Projects Associate Directors, Dennis Vertzayias and James Lampropoulos.
